Chuck Johnson – Owner

 the-people (4) J Brothers’ President Chuck Johnson’s choice of vocation was clear to him from an early age. High school shop classes sparked his interest in the building industry, and motivated Chuck to attend Alexandria Vocational Technical Institute’s Carpentry Program. He has performed a variety of jobs within the industry throughout his 30-plus year career, most notably as project manager and vice president of custom-designed, high-end new homes for the majority of those years.

In 2000, Chuck co-founded J Brothers with his brother, who left the business in 2008, and now co-owns the business with his wife Teri. With his expertise, experience, and industry contacts, Chuck aspires to building J Brothers Home Improvement into one of the finest, most-reputable businesses in the home improvement industry.

In addition to J Brothers, Chuck volunteers his time at his church.

In his free time, Chuck enjoys golf and spending time at the lake and with his family including his wife, daughter, three sons, three grandsons and two granddaughters.

Teri Johnson – Owner/Office Manager

the-people (5) As the office manager and bookkeeper for J Brothers Home Improvement, Teri brings skill, organization, and attention to detail to the administrative arm of the business. A former registered dental assistant, Teri earned her degree at the St. Cloud Vocational Technical Institute. But in addition to her own career, Teri has worked beside her husband Chuck as bookkeeper for his building business, experiencing the ins and outs of the industry they both have come to know so well.

In her professional capacity for J Brothers, Teri is focused on providing efficient, up-to-date office records utilizing the very latest office software and systems.

In her free time, she spends time with friends at Bunco, wine club, book club and Bible study. As the mother of four children and a grandmother of five, she also enjoys spending time with family.

Trent Johnson – Field Superintendent

Trent is Chuck and Teri’s oldest son. He has been involved in the building industry since he was old enough to hold a hammer! After high school he entered the Marines and returned home to Minnesota to work with his dad in the home building industry. Trent takes classes to stay on top of all new building codes and trends and is also OSHA certified as our Safety Supervisor. Trent has two sons: Torii and Chase.

Mitch Johnson – Field Superintendent

Mitch is Teri and Chuck’s youngest son. Mitch graduated from the Carpentry program at Hennepin Technical College in May of 2010. He loves the building industry and is always eager to learn more.

Mitch stays very busy playing softball, golf and basketball. He also enjoys 4-wheeling, riding his motorcyle and being with his wife and friends.

Bruce Johnson – Lead Framer

the-people (9) Bruce is Chuck’s brother. He has 35 years of experience in the field. He attended vocational school for drafting. Bruce and his loving wife Chris have two daughters, Chelsea and Amber, and two grandsons, Grayson and Brecken. He loves to be with his family and golf.

 

 

   

Jason Allen – Carpenter/Detail

the-people (7) Jason has been working in carpentry for 6 years and is currently working towards getting his Bachelor’s degree. He loves to be with his daughter, Skylar, playing hockey, going snowboarding and riding his motorcycle.

 Matt Kanne – Laborer/Detail

 

 

Matt is currently attending The University of Phoenix online and has 3 years of experience in the field.

When he isn’t working he spends time with his family, his girlfriend & his 4 dogs & 2 horses. He also enjoys fishing & hunting.

Some day he hopes to own his own construction company as a Home Builder. J Brothers is a great place to hone those skills!

Lori Perreault – Administrative Assistant

the-people (3) Lori has been helping us at J Brothers since 2013. She loves working for great friends. In her free time, she spends time with her husband, Steve, and their two sons, Jake and Mike.

Deanna Kriskovich – Social Media, Marketing & Photography

  Deanna comes to us with a strong background in Sales & Marketing, Promotions, Customer Service, and Event Planning experience.

In her spare time she enjoys photography, design, yoga, sailing & being near the water, live music, and spending time with her friends. She is also a huge animal lover so she is very excited to be working side by side with Panella.
