Our Complete Remodeling Process includes any one (or all) of the following services, depending on your needs:
- Project Design—Because we understand remodeling is a very personal process, our designers review your project with you, create blueprints and develop a plan to make sure your remodel is functional and to your exact specifications.
- Interior Design—Our interior designers are experts at assisting with flooring, wall color, lighting, appliance selection and more. Acting as personal consultants to you, they are also available to help with the details of your décor to ensure your space is aesthetically pleasing and reflects your style.
- Weekly Schedule—Once you approve your design, it’s time to start. The J Brothers team keeps you informed, providing you with a weekly schedule so you can monitor our progress and know exactly what to expect.
- Demolition—Fully realizing this is your home first, and a job site second, we take care of demolition, providing the necessary permits, dumpster and complete clean-up of the job site every day.
- Frame-up/Reframing—Depending upon the project, sturdy frame-up or reframing comes next.
- Subcontractors—We’ve partnered with the same experienced, reliable contractors for years. If your project requires heating, plumbing, or electrical work, you can trust that the quality craftspeople we hire are proven, certified, bonded, licensed and insured. In addition, no crew member or subcontractor will ever smoke on your premises.
- Walk-through—Before and after our subcontractors go to work, we take you on a walk-through inspection, ensuring appliances, fixtures, and switches are all where you want them to be.
- Drywall/Finishing—First we do taping, mudding, spraying of ceilings, painting, and staining. We follow that with trim work for cabinetry, millwork, and doors.
- Finishing—We finish by expertly installing granite, tile work, and flooring.
- Finishing with Subcontractors—Our subcontractors complete plumbing, heating or electrical work by installing plumbing fixtures, hanging lights and electrical fixtures.
- Detailing—J Brothers works to tie up loose ends by fixing any nicks or scratches, adjusting doors, touching up paint and adding the finishing touches to your project.
- Cleaning—Finally, we perform a thorough cleaning of the work area. A complete clean of other areas of the house that may have been affected by dust or construction materials is also offered.
- Final walk-through —We walk through with you one final time to make sure you’re satisfied.
